    The value of .mobi depends on specific domain name,if it is short, memorable and meaningful it can have good value.

    I think any 1 word (common word) will payoff well for any domain. Otherwise I see .mobi, .ws and .cc as totally worthless.

    If you can grab a 'premium' domain regardless of extension it's a good investment.. I mean .infos used to be 99 cents and sex.info just sold for what a couple hundred thousand dollars? That's a hell of a return for an investor.

    I tell this story all the time - I missed out on buying dvd.us from ebay, back when .us came out. It was the biggest mistake ever. It sold for under $100.

    .mobi registers costly then .com but however the value of a domain depends upon few features.I mean name of the site has a great effect on the domain price.

    Like the rest of you ... LOL

    I still think their is some good money in domaining, and if things go my way I will be finding out by the end of this year.

    Time will tell ....
