Are Microsoft users more gullible?

    People who use IE .. are mostly those people who dont explore much on net like diffrent browsers and stuff and these people see ads as part of a site and probably thats 1 reason

    That sounds quite logical. Most inexperienced people cannot recognize ads on pages so they just think its a part of the document, and they click on it. The default choice for beginners is Windoze ofc, because its user friendly is quick to learn, and with IE preinstalled. So there you have it, simplified.

    You've also got to take into account figures of people, you'll find more people use IE due to the fact it's bundled with the windows OS, so more users will be using IE in comparison to the other browsers. Windows is the dominant OS, and of that demographic, a large proportion won't know about different browsers

    I find many people using Firefox to be using 'Adblock' plug-in as well, which limits the user from seeing the advertisements altogether. :(
    It could be one of the factors why FF users do not click as much on the ads... when compared to IE users.
