Are Metatags must be on the top of the page code ??

    My metatags are not in the top of the page code. Is that encourage problem for seo ???

    meta tags should be inside the

    <head></head>

    tags at the top of the page.

    Thats right. But there is a javascript code that about 15 lines above the html and head codes. Is that encourage any problem ?

    Note: I cannot move meta codes on the top because of the script I am using...

    meta tags are not really THAT important anymore.

    But meta tags do need to be in the head tags. There will be a way to do it, you just need to find the right file with that bit in.

    I think you can put the javascript code anywhere and google will ignor it.

    Yeah Google doesn't really execute Javascript code anyway, and as long as the Meta tags are in the head, it won't make a difference.

    As long as the Meta is in the Head section and the Head section is before the Body, then it will be ok. But try to get the SEO elements as close to the top as possible.

    The most important Meta-Tag is the Title, just make sure to keep it in your HTML head tag..
    However Google Bot don't really read Java Script code, so it doesn't matter at all ;)
