What are your thoughts about registering a .me domain name.

    Will it be worth it?

No, It is not worth more I think. Directi offer .me domain at $49. People can not afford this much bucks for newly arrived .me extension.

I think that generally they won't be much valuable but probably some particular keywords will reach nice figures.

If you can get some keyword domain names and then develop that domain then i think they are definitely worth the amount you spend.

It's the same like .asia because all good domain names goes to auction.
If you want to have a very good one you must pay a lot for it and it dosent worth, not to mention that is a new extension and a few people knows about it but it's popular for domainers.

I would not say they are regged but they are reserved and most likely will go to auction.
Maybe there is some chance to catch a good name without an auction but it will be an exception. Still, there's not harm in trying. :) Especially for the landrush period and after it when the prices are lowered.

It's a ccTLD that can be used for a domain hack, nothing more nothing less
