Are mail subscribe useful for SEO and PR?

    Hello all!

    I've tried to get backlinks and traffic for my site with mail subscription (site news and articles). Users should subscribe in external site (like GoogleGroups), and this should generate the backlinks.

    How do you think - is it useful for Seo and PR?

    According to SEO, it doesn't effect search engine presence.

    But, you can get increase in traffic from the visitors point of view.

    If your site having good worth, surely your visitors subscribes to ur updates and visits your site for new updates.

    It is a good idea to achieve target,

    To increase PR there is no need to struggle.Just do DIRECTORY SUBMISSION.There is nothing else needed to get a good PR [PR3 can be attained by good submissions].
