There are a number of websites out there that look brilliant and are very successful, and others that don't look great but are still just as successful. If you were to visit a website, would you be willing to use the website because it looks good and you know alot of effort went into the website, or the service it provides? A good example of a site I don't think looks great is www.110mb.com but it is one of the biggest free web hosts out there?! Looking forward to your opinions Thanks Jon
I think it depends on what the website's doing and offering. For a content website it doesn't matter as long as the site is reasonably navigable and you can find the information you need. Indeed, some sites can be too flashy and you know that their entire point is to sell you something. But there's a narrow dividing line between a professional-looking site and a site that's far too slick for its own good.
www.110mb.com ,I went with this site when i do not have a hosting.Since i got one for myself, then this site is just sucks.
Well, I'll leave a site immediately if it looks like a cheap sales pitch, so looks do mean something.
I don't care as much about looks as I do about easy navigation and good information. I also hit the back button if there are a lot of misspellings
