Are links on dropped domains helpful?

    I have an option of putting up my site links on a valid pr4 blog..only its a dropped domain..Should I go for it? Are there any harms in having backlinks from a dropped domain?Was just wondering if it could harm my site in anyway..

    i would suggest you to stay away from dropped domains. its valid PR4 now but that wont last passed the next update most likely.

    google used to downgrade the value of links from domains that had dropped - not sure whether they still do that. Either way, not worth much, I'd say (in $ terms, if u r buying it)

    If a dropped domain has all its backlinks intact..which developed over a period of year, is it still useless?
