Are links on an unindexed page useless?

    what if that pages gets indexed after you place your link.

    If it is a free link take it.

    If it is a paid link, say good buy.

    That is something very important to consider...

    I've submitted my sites to several slower/smaller directories. It's been three months and some are still just showing up. I think that slowly crawled sites are nice in that if you submit to a hundred of them they all don't show up the next day to raise flags in Google.

    Though, again, if you are paying, especially on a monthly basis, it's simply not worth the chance.
