Are links in StumbleUpon realy NoFollow ???

I had discover for stumble upon one of my pages and I got 4 votes and 1 review. And what was my surprise when I check PR of this page , and it was 3. I don`t submit this link to other social bookmarking sites or web directories. In other posts here in DP I read that links from StumbleUpon are NoFollow , but I check backlinks for this page , and I have 3 backlinks from StumbleUpon.

 

I was going to use stumbleupon but read negaitve stuff about it and how it doesnt work.

 

Stumbleupon has been nofollow for quite awhile

Go to the page where your links are in stumbleupon site, click on view, then click on "page source" (if you are using FireFox), and in IE click on Source.

Then look for your site link and see if there is a no follow tag there or not.

This will confirm whether they use no follow tag or not.

Anyway, they do use no follow tag

Is it normal ?, when i check my URL for backlinks, to show me backlinks that are come from nofollow links, such as these from stumbleupon

 

Yes ! no follow! Write a blog post( select visual editor) at your su profile and put a link in it. Then click source you will find nofollow with link code

 

Yes, StumbleUpon links are NoFollow. They have no SEO value whatsoever.
StumbleUpon is a good source of traffic though

 

That's what we need.

 

I am quite sure stumbleupon are no follow because they don't show up on Google webmaster tools as backlinks.
