Are links found in resource boxes of articles considered as backlinks? And can you place more than one different links or urls of different sites in one resource box of article submitted in a directory? In effect, are you allowed to promote a number of sites by way of their links or url in a single resourcebox?
yes, they are definitely back links. I hadn't submitted articles in a couple of months and am finding that the number of back links allowed has shrunk to 2 on ezine and associated content. Are there any of the other "good" submission sites that allow more than two? I know goarticles allows four I think but I would like to submit as many links as possible per submission or I guess I need to just do more articles to compensate.
@richromo - try bestsyndication. They aren't as well known as ezinearticles (which is good at this point), but the RSS feeds go out to tens of thousands of websites depending on your niche. You will get consistent clicks and traffic for months, while ezinearticles is a temporary boost.
As a matter of fact, sure they are back links, but bear in mind that many people sadly remove them after an article site makes your work available for syndication.
Article submission to ezine is probably my favorite as Google tends to pick up the articles quickly from EZA. You can build backlinks this way and if you're lucky, get an surge of traffic if your niche is popular enough. Hope that helps!
