Are Links from Adbrite real links?

I wonder if you buy a link from Adbrite, are they real links in the sense that they will give you link popularity. Or are they just text ads which go through their server?

 

I think they are text ads since the webmaster is not the one that places them on the page. Have a look through their advertisers sites and check the code. If it's not a simple <a> tag link, it probably won't count.

 

If I remember well, they are just text ads and don't count as backlinks.

 

If I remember correctly, their javascript links like what Adsense uses and don't count.

 

Will the links that we get from banners count in the DP Co-Op? Or is it the same scenario as with adbrite?
