are link backs from pr4/5 ddl sites bad for my download site?

    hello, i own a free legal download sites. to get more hits from google, u need to have a good pr. if i get back links from pr4/5 ddl sites, would this cost me something? bad google ranking etc? becuase i see all those ddl sites getting 40/50k unique a day from google etc. will my adsense get banned?
