Are <li> lists important for SEO?

    I don't like the way Wordpress spaces traditional lists.

    Can I create my own list by using one the following:

    Number 1:
    #1:
    1)
    1.

    Or does using the WYSIWYG default list make it easier for Google to read and understand?

    There is no difference.. You can edit the code to display them the way to like them. ;)
