dunno what anyone would want these for, I'm just curious whether anybody considers these worth anything with a good name

Yes, it is worth something if the name is info-related...

It is ideal for websites which contain information about something.

    Something like
    acneprevention.info
    divorcelaw.info
    diabetes.info

    But NOT
    digitalpoint.info
    friendly.info
    joecomputerstore.info

The name must suit the extension (.info about something)

Yea, i know a lot of sites that people visit often that have .info in them. Somehow, people think of it to be better than .com domains.

Digitalpoint.info isnt bad either. It works out, because it sounds right if you think about it.

another one important reason why dot info will come valuable if the domain name was very hot (example: gadgetblog.info, videogames.info). means all the extensions are taken except info. the demand is there.

i also have one dot info and surprisingly, i bought it when the demand for that kind of name was so high. luckily the dot info still available at that time. i am happy with it now because someone has offer me around $400 for it.

but i still keep that domain because I know the price will increase. I will sell it once I got $500 offer.

good luck with your new dot info domain mate!

If it's a quality name, then definately the .info has value. Eg. Sex.info sold for $202k a few months ago.

.info is a great extension, with the right keywords, could really fetch you alot of money, case in point sex.info

With all the spam that's happening on .info it sure lost on it's real value. Of course, if you have a good, brandable keyword in the domain, it's worth.

I've seen some people saying that .info may replace .net as the 2nd best choice.

Like mentioned above, I think that may be true for some domains and not true for others. I have a few .info domains that I like, but I haven't bought to many.

info extension must match with the domain name,
also info is cheap, if u can develop extention will not make a big damage

.info extensions are associated a lot with spam in my opinion. a while back Godaddy had a sale for a month or so where they were selling .info extensions for 99 cents.

I dont know about the worth I guess...

.info's remind me of something that it would take a lot of good information to get any kind of worth

I'll only buy really good .info's
I think their value is limited bar the exceptional ones. Build a nice site on it however and that could change.
