Hello, I need a bit of SEO advice. When I submit an article to a directory, if I have keyword hyperlinks in the bio or about author paragraph at the end is this better for SEO than if I just have normal links there?
I don't see any difference between hyperlink and normal link. both are same. you need to explain little more.
Ok sorry for the dumb question but I have limited knowledge about SEO. I run a site that offers article submission services, now usually our clients have keywords in the articles and they ask for them to have embedded links that direct to their website. Just recently my submissions staff have been telling me that many of the sites we submit to are not accepting these hyperlinks now, when the article page is approved the hyperlinks either direct back to the same page or the links is broken. This is obviously a problem for me as it is something my clients expect, but then I was wondering if the hyperlinks make any difference when it comes to SEO (obviously the clients are ordering these submissions for SEO purposes) would it be the same if we just inserted say 2 regular links in the paragraph? Hope I made myself clear that time
you might be talking about the anchor text which you give to the hyperlink....if yes then it is good to give anchor text to the hyperlinks..by that way you can highlight your important and targeted keywords.
I would prefer you to just mention your main keywords in the authors bio to bring your site on those keywords..
well its nice to have hyper link rather than normal link and i am sure that normal link in your viewpoint is. Merely a link without hperlink and that is called text link.
