The simple answer is yes! Has anyone else seen this? I noticed it this morning after checking some sites and stuff. It appears that Google are trialling adding images next to the adsense (well within it really) .
no border ? ban Google )) . Odd to see how we are required to pus borders on our ads / pictures and some spacing and they actually do the opposite . And they are experimenting this for over a week from what I've seen so far .
What brought my attention to this was the high CTR for this page. I was running through yesterdays stats on my adsense tracking script and WALLOP, like a slap across the face with a piece of wet haddock (maybe that should be Cod as It was a wallop) . I really should pay more attention to this little directory. It brings in lots of traffic for the sites in it, and ticks along at a few $ a day as well (I added adsense to it about 6 weeks ago). I should maybe develop it, especially as it has been around for years and years.
Hi Anders, Thanks for writing in. The feature you're referring to is one of several new features the Google AdSense team is currently testing for a very limited number of publishers. At this time, we are not able to offer these features to other publishers. Should we offer these features to additional publishers in the future, we will be sure to notify you at that time. Nice to be selected
I would welcome a thumbnail or at least a periodic format change. It seems people are becoming accustom to the traditional Adsense layout and are automatically ignoring its content.
Seen those before yes. More than ruining blending it's when you get that picture next to another of your own site... Odd...very odd.
