Please let me clarify on my topic title... I am asking if creating a new forum these days is still considered a good idea? Back then forums ruled the internet. Now if you have a question or want to share a thought you can just Google it to find that someone has already posted about it. I have always been a huge Star Trek TNG fan and was thinking about creating a forum about it but wasn't sure if it would just be dead or really hard to promote. Once I created a forum that grew on its own to 10,000 members just from SEO. I wonder if I can create another successful forum.
Forums are always popular and will never die. It is very useful for many things. So many good information sharing there that usually selling through google ads. Peoples loves to share and get possitve feedbacks, that is main reason why forums will be popular
Yes you should create another one. Don't worry much since you already have experience in doing this so get member for your forum is easy task for you.
