I really enjoy creating forums and watching them build up. I normally try to find a different and unique niche. I have been toying with the idea of setting up a webmaster/online money making forum, but I am wondering if this area is too saturated?
Yes it is, all you have to think is that dp has taken years to get like this so youll never compete directly, however you can say do a webmaster forum for work at home mothers, making it a bit different. Mine is helping teens make money.
this forum have big quality and many webmasters are on this forum soo I think that you can try something else
Honestly speaking, the niche you listed already saturated and have big competition from established site. Anyway, you can try to do this but in different way. I do suggest you try something that have less competition such as agriculture forum.
Ive just realised, if you are asking this question surely you dont have suficient knowledge of webmaster forums or the internet to start one? I mean it takes a lot of posts by your, usually talking to yourself to get it going, mine only really got interested people when there was 500 posts. Alot of work for me and a few good friends at first.
You are the one who PM'ed me the other week because you didn't know simple BB code? Don't question my knowledge of running forums - I run several. I was just thinking about breaking into the webmaster/moneymaking niche, and was looking for some opinions.
It is very hard to get a forum going. You have to get people or your self to post on the fourms. The best way to do this would be to get friends talk on your forum. There are LOTS of forums out there and if you dont have much content compared to another one people may just not want to talk on your forum.
If you create it within a niche of MMO, then maybe you can compete. The problem is - by your post, it doesnt seem like you know enough to be operating in this niche.
even saturated I think still any chance on deep niche that not many ppl doing yet, just try and error.if you create webmaster forum of course it's over saturated
