Are either of these link building options good?

    I'm just starting to do link building for my site. I plan on doing press releases and articles, but I also would like to know if the following will help my site in the SERPS:

    Does leaving comments on blogs help at all?

    How about posting at forums related to my sites subject matter?

    It is important to find blogs that don't have "nofollow" tags. There are a couple ways of looking for this.

    • Visit a blog that you would like to make a comment on. Scroll down until you get the comments section. Find a link, i.e. the name of the person writing the comment. Now, right click your mouse and click on view source. Hit CTRL F and type in the name of the link.
    Make sure the link doesn't have "nofollow" in it. here is what a link would look like with nofollow:
    <a href="http://www.blogger.com/profile/02705644426953694822" onclick="" rel="nofollow">deepanjali<

    • Now the easiest way to find these blogs that dont have nofollow, is commenthunt.com. just type your keyword in the search box and there you go. A list of blogs that don't have "nofollow" in their comments section.

    But Don't spam on DoFollow blogs. Your comment will be deleted!
    Also don't try to keep your target keyword as your name while commenting!
    You can also use my search engine to search for DoFollow blogs(my 3rd signature..):D!

    Press release with maximum exposure level can give huge traffic. Also it provide useful content hyperlinks. Article is good to create and acquire niche traffic. But no hyperlink in content only Author resource
