Are .EDU links useful for business related sites?

    I think yes, especially if you get edu links like from business management, marketing research related universities or educational sites.

    Yes if the link is on a quality page. If it's on a subdomain buried on some students personal blog there isn't too much value.

    Depends on the site industry and your purpose.
    PR effect is debatable but from my experience a single PR5 .edu can bump a PR2 one or two ranks up.
    If your site/client is in the right industry .edu links could have a LOT of benefit.

    I think they can be useful with business sites if you are trying to teach someone something, but I think they are more useful when it comes to educational websites, such as colleges, high schools, etc....
