    Hey everyone,
I have been thinking of experimenting with ebooks for a while.

I do own a reputable copywriting business, and I have a team of really good professionals native writers through which I can develop few e-books.

The question is, is it worth investing in quality ebooks? And if yes, what is the next step which you believe is best to get some targeted traffic?

I have heard of ezine submission of promotional articles, however I am not sure as to how effective this is.

Any advice would be great, as I am a complete newb in this field.

    Thanks!

My first piece of advice to you is to do a lot of market research before developing a product. There MUST be demand, or no matter how good your e-book is, you just won't make any money. There are people who have developed absolute junk, but because there is interest/demand for their product, they're now millionaires or on their way to becoming millionaires.

Get a professional to design your site, write some killer copy, make sure there is a demand, and you have a real chance at making some serious money when affiliates pick up your product.

As far as traffic goes, EZ is an excellent way to get traffic. And, of course, you can always go with paid traffic through any of the major search engines. You can also do media buys etc. The traffic is endless as long as you know where to get it and/or are willing to pay for it.

Start by promoting someone else's eBooks before you jump right in and invest time and money in creating your own.

90% of eBook success is down to the marketing and sales. The actual contents of the book come AFTER the important event = the sale. The better the sales pitch, the more sales you'll get. The better the book itself, the less refunds you'll get.

As onlinemoniez suggests, there has to be a demand for what you're selling otherwise you'll get nowhere, no matter how well researched or perfectly phrased your book is.

    Good luck :)

As far as promotions are concerned, you let the affiliates do that for you. For every sale, they get a percentage of the selling price of your product. You don't have to do anything except sit back and wait. Of course, you might want to do some promotions yourself there's nothing wrong with that. I think this free guide called Clickbank For Newbies might be helpful. Although it focuses mainly on the affiliates, but still there are some useful tips that you can build on on your next venture. Hope this helps.

My friend, it may not seem it, but your question is very general. The advice given to you is great so far, however it would help if you grabbed yourself a full online marketing guide.

A good one should show you how to -

    - 1) Create Content
    - 2) Choose a Target Market
    - 3) Launch the Product
    - 4) Find Affiliates

There's much more to it than that, but there is no such thing as a 100% complete guide out there.

    Good luck!

P.S. If you're planning on writing any eBooks in the health and fitness niche, I may be able to help in terms affiliate marketing.

It is 100% worth to invest in it.Earn back $$ later.
The ebooks business will be fine if you have your own good materials.
Don't forget about the copyright scheme; protect yourself.

Ebooks can be a great way to earn and build a list at the same time. In fact - offering free eBooks is a great way to build your list, and you can promote your own products or other products to them later.

Very true. Its hard to achieve in a field that you are not passionate about. There is great potential to make money writing ebooks but they really need to be of quality to get anywhere. Don't just spend 3 days writing some guide with 300 links to things people could use. take the time to research , make drafts , get opinions and perfect your ebook before you even think about selling it. Good luck :)

I think E-books can be great. But you must research thoroughly before coming to any conclusion
