are earnings based on each ad unit?

    I have a few low CTR ads on some of my sites, im wondering if i remove those ads, if my earnings will increase for other ads on that site?

    anotherwards, does it hurt my higher CTR ads to have low CTR ads on the same page or same site?

    well i guess the more the ads the less the competitors.if you have just one ads on one page rather than 3 ads that one ads will get you higher CTR i guess.
    But Suggestions from the pro' would appericiated here.

    I do sometimes minimize the amount of ad-units, to make sure the ones that are there are filled with reasonably high paying ads. But this is really a niche by niche thing. You could try a links-unit in place of one of the ad-units. Some of those do quite well for me.
