I was issued an infraction for submitting an offer in a post. The above post had an offer in it and was NOT removed.

Can someone please explain why one of the admins has gone crazy issuing me infractions inconsistent with actual practice of other users?

    what is going on?

Infractions are issued by post, not necessarily by thread.

And I'm quite certain we have a rule about *not* complaining about infractions...

I IM'd a mod but did not hear back.

I am telling you I am getting infractions again and again for stuff other people are doing but I ma the only one who is getting the infraction for it.

If someone posts and offer in response to a WTB, and I do too, why do I get an infraction and the other user's post stays up?

Why does Digitalpoint refuse to appy policiesto everyone? Why am i getting singled out? What does this admin have against me? I'd like to know.

Can I assume Digitalpoint simply doesn't care? because it feels like it.

You can assume what you want, but it comes down to you breaking the rules. Don't break the rules and you won't get infractions.

If you see others breaking the rules, use the report button, and report other posts.

Can you report any wrong post, like "PM's sent" or whatever...???

    Or just certain types.

    Thanks!

You can report any post that violates the rules. And there's always a chance that you're getting infractions because others are reporting your posts. If someone reports you and tells us you're posting offers in multiple threads, we might look at your personal thread history and deal with posts through that interface -- not by scrolling through the threads themselves. As someone else noted, don't break the rules and you won't have to worry about it. And if you see others breaking the rules, report them. Also, don't start threads to complain about infractions.
