Are Directory Submissions Worth It?

You see quite a few Directory Submission services in the B/S/T section, they are cheap and I have used one or two of them, but are they worth it?

Do you think for the price, they can actually give you the said number of listings with a quality backlink? Would it be better to spend 30$ on a PS6 directory or 800 submissions?

Just need some reviews since I am curious to buy a few packages, thanks.

 

I believe that they are really worth it, as I took few packages too and its showing some result to my site.

 

They do pass some good PR, if that is what you are looking for.

Traffic-wise, I get about 30 visitors per month (each) from the two best directories on my statistics list. That's not a lot, but 30 visitors is nothing to dismiss either. Then multiply that times the number of high-quality directories you submit to. Notice that I said "high-quality" directories. My stats show very little traffic coming from the run-of-the-mill directories I've submitted to.

Definitely worth it. If you're submitting to free directories track which ones actually include your link. New directories do it immediately; most take 2 weeks to 2 months.
