Just curious, I have been paying a guy to do them for like $8 per 100 directories and have gotten some spiders, but what about paying more and doing pr4 direcotories? Just need more info, what makes a pr4 directory, is it free, do you have to pay for the submission? Thanks, Jason
Just because a directory is said to be PR4 that doesnt mean your link will be on that PR4 page. Most likely your link will end up 2 or 3 layers back where the PR is likely to be closer to 0. Be careful when buying links, do your research.
Directories have good internal linking, in this way each page of it will worth something for search engine rankings, even if they don't have any PR. You will don't get the same impovement as putting your link on a 5PR page, but as others say, each link counts.
Yes. Ranking for one of my sites for a fairly competitive key phrase skyrocketed from nowhere to be found to page #3 after submitting it to directories & that site gets about a 100 uniques everyday (from this key phrase) from being listed on page 3 alone... Undoubtedly beneficial IMO.
Directory are a great way way to get links As for price 8$ for 100 directorys you know you get what you pay ...
Well, you can find them for $3 or lower per 100, or even FREE! So ? I charge and gets at least $15 for 100. I highly doubt that anything below $10 per 100 is worth it for a lot of reasons. I even find some guys who says that they have 53 submitters only!!! LMAO
Excellent comment w3bmaster you get what you pay for You pay peanuts and you attract monkeys Agree Directories provide back links an essential need for all web sites
yeah it'll helps you build your link popularity...though not much of a traffic but still by using your targeted keywords as anchor text it'll help your rankings...
