    every directory is worth submitting too. Just for the paid ones , it might be best to think about if it's worth the asking price.

    Yes directory submission is good for gaining link and search engine indexing. Its also good for receiving increased targeted traffic to your site

    If you're site gets listed in a directory you will gain backlinks and if they are really good directory you will gain traffic as well. :)

    It is worth!

    But the value you get in return depends on the
    saturation of the directory meaning how many
    back links it has got how many pages have been
    indexed by SEs etc. Here is a good list with necessary

    I think it's useful in the long run, but in my experience I noticed that some 10% of all the links submited will ever be registered in google.

    Directories are the best free source to increase your website popularity on internet and become a part of related business. Many good directories improve your backlinks.

    Here, Here, I agree.

    Just submit... they can't hurt your site only help... not all will be worth anything but it is a numbers game... some of the directories you submit to will gain PR and will pass you value.
