    Salut.
A page not linked to the main site, just a page
in some directory that you were testing things out,
colors, html stuff, but still it's not linked to the root
directory site, bring you down? If so, best thing to do is
delete it altogether, or does'nt matter?

Well if I go to your website, I can only access pages that have links to them.

Same goes for the Search Engines. They can't see what they can't get to.

So having pages that are not accessible is just clutter on your hosting account. If you don't need them, might be best to delete them.

If you need them for historical purposes, just keep them in a separate folder on your PC and remove them from your website so you don't get confused as to what is viewable.

So the only downside is that they are chewing up what might be valuable Disk Space on your Hosting account. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about them.

    Cheers
    Tim

If it's not ever linked to it will never be spidered so it doesn't matter.
