Are credit systems, reactions, shops for forums, childish?

Various people have been arguing this. Also some like reactions and emojis but get annoyed at overuse - saying it's childish. Nonetheless, I don't really care about their opinion. Who cares?

    • I'm not sure what you mean by credit systems
    • Reactions (like Slack has) make a lot of sense. Telegram is annoying because in order to "react" you have to create a new post which adds to the noise with no benefit
    • If the forum owner has something to sell then having a shop is obvious
If you find a forum to be too childish I'm sure you can use google to find another that fits with your maturity better.
