Are Commissions Universal On All Amazon Domains?

Ok so I registered with Amazon Associates in the US, despite being from the UK (makes sense since the net is mainly US and that's where my traffic is from). Sooo if somebody ends up buying from the UK version of Amazon, despite going through my link do I still get commission. Aka is it universal like Ebay?

I take it my check comes in dollars, which means a huge chunk gone for my bank to clear it :(

That being said if commissions are universal, would it be better if I signed up to the UK version?

    I've kind of confused myself.

If you're signed up under the US associate program, you'll only get paid for US visitors. A UK associate gets paid for only UK visitors, etc.

you can signup for both but there is no integration. you will get paid seperately.

It sucks but thats the way it is.

You should read the information on rates on the 2 sites carefully. The UK pays slightly higher rates, but they have a cap on commission.
