No. Not at all. But if you rephrase that question you get a completely different answer.

.com is more easy to remember by your visitors.
From the SEO point of view,it doesn't matter if it is .com or .info

Just take a look at your KW and see how many .info are at the top of the serps. Remember .com has had a longer run so this affects rankings

It doesent make a difference if its .com or .info or whatever as far as search engines results go anyway.

Thats true. I rarely see .info ones at the top but a lot of people are saying it does not matter. Perhaps this is because there are very fewq .info domains because most people still go with .com.

Yes, it is. There are more .com and .net around :)

In terms of SEO, it doesn't make a difference.

It is not important in terms of SEO.
But your "returning visitors" share will definitely be small.

For eg, if i visit a website "digitalpoint.info" and if it has good content. When i think of returning to the website again i'd definitely type digitalpoint.com and will leave when i come to know that it was not what i wanted.

    I think i was clear.

For ranking it shouldn't matter, if it is a MFA site go ahead with .info, no one will want to remember your site anyways. If it is a professional business site go .com for people to remember or type for that matter. Even when I know a site is .org my fingers type .com, hard habit to break.

I am a .info man. Always buy them. And I personally like to think all domains are equal to google .

From a SE perspective, all domains are equal.

For visitors, there seems to still remain a bias in favor of .com domain names.
