Are bots considered as hits or visits?

    I'm wondering if anyone here knows if bots or spiders are considered as hits or visits. Bots as in .. spam bots that leave you bogus comments. :)

    Hits. Even if Google Bot (as an example) crawls your site for a month and hits the site 50,000 times it will only count as one visit.
