Are blogs good for Google Ranking?

    Can blogs and blog pages get high Google result ranking just as easily as a regular website? Or do websites have an advantage?

    blogs have better navigational structure than websites in general. but if you have a website with proper navigation, then it should not make any difference. reason some blogs might rank better is because of its web 2.0 functionality where people can add comments on a blog post that adds fresh content on the blog and google loves fresh content

    also, blogs (especially WP templates) are designed with on-page SEO in mind, this helps in ranking
