are blog post links good or BAD for Ranking Improvement?

    I don't know what you got banned from or if you really did but I have used that network for 2 KWs and both moved up very nicely in Google.

    blog posting on niche blogs can give you boost, i am using only niche blog posts.
    not use of bulger network of fake PR blog with dropped domain.

    Absolutely, just ensure you are buying from quality sites, and ideally the the niche and/or content is related to your site niche. If using a large blog network, always ensure the owners are hosting each blog on a separate C-Class IP address to ensure no footprints are left.

    they are very good people and now got my ranked up 3 positions. my keyword was on 6th position and now its on 3rd position.

    Backlinks from high PR blogs/sites are always helpful. And backlinks from relevant blogs/sites are even more helpful. Even, the IP address ll be having the PR.

    You will find a lot of things to consider. Link relevance, quantity of OBL's per page, PR from the page, existing back links etc.

    Using blog network won't ban a site.. I doubt about that.. I am using blog network for link wheel for 1 year and it didn't ban my site.

    Blog posts I believe are more effective than simple blog comments. It gives you the chance to give more quality content that Google loves. Both are effective methods of backlinking. You must always remember that link diversity and relevance are among the greatest priorities for backlinking.

    I'd rather have a link then not have it in most cases, so long as my link velocity is monitored. Blog posts, article marketing, and high PR home page backlinks (aka contextual links) are one of the main reasons many people on this and other forums are even ranked for anything in the first place.
