Hello, I recently had some offer to buy links on software related blog sites. I have a Free Software Downloads Archive site and I am really interested in collaborating with people writing blogs about software and stuff. I am interested to know if links on blog pages are really counting for PR and SERPS. Is it worth it?
Yea, if the blog post is related it should work a treat. In fact i even did a little experiment last year that showed how well posts on related blogs work.
Yep they sure are, heres proof: http://www.webmasterlogs.com/link-a...pe=linkdomain&depth=5&x2=uk.wrs.yahoo.com&x3= note : every single backlink is from a blog hehehe except for 3
they help out a lot lol, good for business sometimes on the other end, they do help more then other regular sites for sure so if u find a good deal, just take it and dont regret it later lol
yeah its it worth links from other blogs will definately increase your rank ,traffic etc in short its great
Blog links definitely help a lot. A link from a related blog can bring traffic and users to your site / blog and also help in counting as backlinks for your site / blog.
All of there answer is true. So create a related blog to link with your site so it will count as your quality back links. Good luck.
Yeah it's true, they can help tremendously in building your backlinks. Just make sure rel=nofollow isn't being used if you're link is being posted in a comment, WordPress has this turned on by default, but its fairly easy to turn off with a bit of code.
IMO links in posts on quality blogs(many quality and realted links pointed at blog, fresh, unique and useful content) is still the most quality links for google.
Quality blog link (from content) is worth the same as a quality link from a site (froma content). Its sinmple as that.
I always thought it was the PR of the blog/site linking back to you. Shouldn't matter if it is a blog or not. bujes, didn't realize that about comment links. Thanks
I saw many blogs where comment do NOT have nofollow tag. Did anyone else see them? Also, some people here say that even if nofollow is present, the link still counts.
