Are Blog Impressions Invalid???

I always post in my blog and whenever I published, I preview it and considered impressions right. And often times I check my blog just to check it. Is that invalid impression or page view???

yeah i am...but peanuts amount. i'd be happy if i can reach $10.

 

wow I envy you. atleast you are earning. how did you generate traffic? how long have you been blogging? can you give me some tips on how to increase my traffic?

 

blogging, since 6 months ago. started opening my page to the rest of the world, just a month ago.

still finding out ways to increase traffic. here are some methods i used (free ones of course):

1) write good content. people only come back to read good contents.
2) submit to blog directories. ping those directories everytime you update.
3) create a signature in forum posts, in your email, on your business cards, etc.
4) read other blogs and comment. don't just say "hi there nice blog come read mine". comment intellectually and show some interest in their blogs.

that's all i can think of. there're of course other non-free ways which will get you traffic like crazy.
