The main benefit of a "nofollow" attribute placed on a forum or blog is that you will not have your hands full of posts or comments that need to be moderated. Of course,less spam is another advantage and you can be assured that only people who are actually interested in your blog and the topic you write about will post a comment on it.

Well every link is a link be it nofollow or dofollow.I have been spamming for last 1year using SB and all my site are doing pretty well and none has faced google penalty.I mostly post on blogs which are autoapprove and are nofollow.
