Are blog comment backlinks dead?

No matter what I use, software or custom search, I can't find dofollow links. The software just find blogs without comment, so it consider it as dofollow blogs.
Are blog comment backlinks dead? Is there any other way to find real dofollow blogs.

You can use seoquake to check if site or blog is nofollow.

Major of blog platforms use nofollow for the commenting. e.g: blogspot.com, wordpress.com, etc. Because they want to prevent spammers to spam commenting.

I never see software developers create the dofollow searching for the commenting. They only create software that able to search blogs that allow commenting regardless it use the nofollow or not.

If you want to build backlinks for SEO purposes, the commenting is NOT for you!!

There are a number of blogs with do-follow. Make a search on regarding the list of blogs with do-follow and you'll find some website with the list. I don't remember the URL but there are websites which offer you such list for free.

    * Don't take advantage of do-follow blogs to post spam or else they'll again turn into no-follow ones !

hey guys, I am new to SEO. A few minutes ago I didn't knew anything about nofollow and dofollow, but after reading a lot it seems that most of the blogs aren't worth to invest time in it to leave comments since barely decent blogs has dofollow, right? So it make no sense to leave comments in those blogs in order to get a better ranking in the SERPs. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I tried getting links from several dofollow blogs a while ago, it SEO value is very small and not worth the time IMO.

Even you need to go to google, you just search in dp itself, you will find great list of dofollow blogs, there may be some of are nofollow.

But here members have really contributed very well to find out dofollow blogs.

if your comment is placed on a relevant dofollow blog, then sure its valuable for SEO. but make sure you post comments on related sites only otherwise your comment might look spammy and you will not get the best value for your backlinks
