    B&W logos - no matter how well designed they are, remind me of faxes, and photocopies. Personally, I hate 'em.

    you need both. black and white for black and white documents, and colored for everything else.

    Hi,

    Both are required and impressive. A quality logo should hold the position as both colored and black & white. So that it matches in any background.

    Latest trends for a website's design is indeed black and white, however I believe colored logos look better.

    black and white logos emphasizes the design itself. so i think if you want it to be catchy you can add up colors for the logo.
