Are backlinks only one way links

    Are backlinks only one way links. In other words backlinks do not require you to put the links of other sites on your webpage .

    Back links are any links into a page, they can be reciporical they can be internal from your own site. The type of link may well have alter how much effect it has. But a backlink is the name give to any link pointing to a webpage.

    Ok thanks so much Nixies - just starting up in web development and trying to improve the ranking for a wee project I did and put on the web called footypal.com. Started out as a bit of fun

    Yeah, backlinks can be in any form the hyperlink text that directly link to your site. It can be reciprocal link to other site, your link in web directories, your sign in forum and link in articles.

    I heard that, if we do reciprocal links means our PR juice will reduce to the other reciprocal blog. Is that true?
