what are your suggestion about back links are they important to rank well in google is same is the case with msn and yahoo.

 

I do not know the case in yahoo and msn,but high quality backlinks can improve your site's pagerank.High pagerank can make your site rank well.

 

backlinks are very important in google, especially those from high PR pages. If you want your website to be well-ranked , it is very important for you to start compaign to get more backlinks. A good way to get backlinks is put very interesting content to your website that others may link to it...

 

I think it is same for Yahoo,
If you rank well for a keyword in Google, Most likely you will rank well for that keyword in Yahoo too.
a backlink from a site acts like a vote for your site.

 

Back link with high PR and Quality sites theme related can makes a site honorable and in search engines the site get a well rank by that keyword from which you have gotten back links.

I think, back links is the most important factor in ranking well in all search engines.

 

i have a site i think it has not enough backlinks but it is ranked quite good for these keywords online audio and video songs

Yes back links are very important to rank well in google but yahoo is more focused on content (it doesn't mean that they dont look back links) anyways backlinks will not harm your site they will give you high ranking as well as good page rank in google...

Depends on the competition level of keyword,if competition is low then it will not

the idea behind this is that u get more search results in google, alexa or anywhere!

and this in turn boosts up the rank.

 

In my experience Google determines the SERP purely on the back link strength and Yahoo considers content and meta tags more than backlinks.
