Are backlinks from a homepage more valuable than a sub-page (same PR)?

The title hopefully explains it all. I'm very curious!

I'm talking not in terms of getting more traffic to my site, but in terms of Google SERP. I'm targeting a specific keyword.

    Thanks.

It's impossible to say for sure, but my guess would be yes.

    Hi '

I guess High PR + Google Cache vertification + relavant content

these all are much important for an effective link placement

I am getting PR 2 ranking for my subpage blog than PR 1 for home page

I still prioritize my index page before my sub pages but much better if they have the same.
