Are back links reachable???

I have heard that Google doesn’t allow to see backlinks to the competitor sites. I need to check backlinks to my site but most of tools don’t allow to see the whole picture.
Is there a method to fetch all backlinks to my site. It’ll be cool to see competitor’s backlinks as well )

 

Just use Yahoo site explorer - its shows the backlinks for any site you want to look at

Unfortunately Yahoo site explorer shows only internal links and only few inbound links (Google no no). I need to see full picture of inbound links to my site
The question is what should I put to my HTML code to make Google recognize me as owner of the site and where on Google I can see inbound links to my site.

 

In Site Explorer you need to (after searching for your site):
1) click on Inlinks button
2) change 1st dropdown to show "Except form this domain"
3) change 2nd dropdown to show "Entire site"

This will not show your sites internal links and show all links pointing to any page of your site. This is a more realistic picture of your external backlinks.

 

I need to see all the links (100%) to my own site. Is there no possibility to collect them altogether???
