No. That person is claiming to be a pastafarian, it's satirical. You're failing to grasp a number of simple concepts here and i don't know which one to explain to you first. If the strainer is religious clothing then it's the religious clothing of pastafarianism, a mock religion created to highlight the absurdity of religion. The point he is making is that giving people special concessions because of ludicrous, made up rules isn't something that we should be doing, because there is no end to the absurdity.

I have to come to one of two conclusions here; Either that you're incredibly stupid, or incredibly dishonest. So let me ask you a few questions to try and help us, and you, figure out exactly were your cognitive fault lies.

1. You understand that pastafarianism isn't atheism, right?
2. You don't think pastafarians actually believe in a god made of spaghetti, do you?
3. Do you understand any of the things i have been saying or do i need to draw a picture using thick crayons?

Yes it would. For the exact reasons you gave. it's a position on religion, but calling it a religion is as senseless as calling antifascism fascism, on the grounds that it's a position on fascism.

But then, it would be a good thing for it to be a religion, wouldn't it? It says a lot about the weakness of your argument if you're trying (unsuccessfully) to convince us that our argument is as weak as yours. I mean, you wouldn't hear us criticising religion by pretending it's logical, reasoned and based on evidence.

What you basically just said is "atheism is stupid because it's a religion", and it saddens me that you people typically lack the intelligence to understand the irony of that.

So, morals and purpose of life don't have anything to do with religion.. They are not exclusive to religious.. You may like to think that you have the higher morals than me, but you are wrong.

 

Ah... are you hearing voices in your heads, when did i say i have higher morals than you. And i am talking of the typical arrogant atheists type like stox etc. If you just cant understand god and dont feel it, fair enough, at least do the right things. That's right, i don't believe in god, well done. I do believe in the religious though, they very much to exist, in all their spitefulness, hatred of women, abuses of children and scientific illiteracy. They very much do exists, and they very much are something i'm morally obliged to oppose and seek to destroy. And no amount of whining from you is going to stop that.

So do you tell your family that? you seem to have forgotten to answer. Do you tell them that without your religion your life has no meaning and that you'd likely murder them? Because that's what you just told us. Here we have a man who probably has a family of some description, he might even have friends, i expect he has hobbies, interests, desires, passions, who openly admits that without his religion all of that would be meaningless. What a pathetic empty shell of a life you must possess if that were true.
