Hello, I read on this site that Amazon Iframes on your website are a great way to earn major cash. That makes obvious sense. However I feel that may be a breach of their terms. Does anyone know if Iframes are allowed? Thank you. Al
Iframes are allowed in many situations provided they're not used for deceptive purposes. For instance, the only allowed way to include customer review content is via iframe.
Thanks guys, I sure wont use that approach. I am going to stay away from iframes altogether unless its within their widget codes.
You can avoid iframes for most things but if you want to show customer review content from Amazon your only option is via an iframe per their TOS.
Yeah, Iframes aren't allowed unless it's customer reviews and besides your visitors won't be able to use Amazon on your iframe because Amazon needs to be in the top window (address bar) in order to navigate through Amazon.
I set up a site recently with an iframe http://sirjorge.net/recordsurplus it works fine, not a lot of traffic yet
I avoid using iframes like the plague with the Amazon affiliate program, as I know of someone who got their account banned for cookie stuffing that he new nothing about and he's still arguing with them over outstanding monies. I'm not saying it won't benefit people, but I shy away from these because of the problems it caused for another IM.
With the long lead time to getting paid by Amazon (typically 90 days) you don't want to risk anything.. as that 90 days of earnings will just be wiped out.
The Iframes aren't accustomed unless it's chump reviews and besides your visitors will not be able to use Amazon on your iframe because Amazon needs to be in the top window
