I spent considerable time but failed to find option to cancel pending application. We can expire only active relationship - Publisher expired just like Advertiser expired. I did that to one advertiser only who charges $7.00 for domain transfer and then about $25 for renewal next year. When customer wishes to take domain away, a Contract Termination Fee is demanded (perhaps $100 - sorry I cannot recall year 2000 amounts, losing linkjunction.net rushcom.net atozfree.net). Australian Government Agency blamed me for not reading terms.
yeah I know, we should have an option to cancel "pending applications" as well, that would be just great!
Advertisers can choose from various criteria regarding whether to automatically accept, manually approve, or automatically reject affiliates. If I wanted, I could automatically accept all US traffic, manually approve all non-US traffic, and decline all affiliates from specific regions. The majority of programs on CJ are manual approvals, from what I've seen.
CJ has only been around since 1998/99. Anyway, it would be a good idea to be able to remove yourself from application queues - have you tried contacting CJ to have them remove it manually?
Yes this is what I really hate about CJ and it's why I'm starting to lean towards Clickbank more and more. There you can just pick a product to promote and away you go. With CJ it can take months.
Yes - Clickbank is a lot better if you like to sell make-money-quick ebooks. If you like to promote reputable products & services, CJ might work a tad better.
Emailing the AM when they probably have 200 emails in their inbox won't do much. Call them and leave a voicemail. If that doesn't work them call the online marketing manager asn ask why. You will get a call back immediately.
