I have some stats on my websites , and i check the visitor stats in adsense,
but they are saying totally diffrent things.
So my question: are my adsense stats a good source for my visitor stats?

Adsense gives different types of stats - per page and per ad unit - not unique visitors. What stats are you using and comparing it to?

With adsense stats you can get a good idea how many pages were actually viewed by people. Most bots don't load javascript so adsense only shows pages from actual visitors.

Most of people who are using firefox, can block adsense too. So it not accurate. My pageview from adsense stats is just 50% from pageview in awstat and webalizer although I have adsense on every page of my site

I agreee because one of my site unique per day is 2K + but my adsense page view is 40% lower.

Yeah, I used to set up firefox to block advertisements.. but then I realized it's how I and many other webmasters pay for their servers and equipment, as well as our time devoted to the webpages.

Blocking advertisements will be the end of free internet.

heh, number of clicks that get is just 10% from number of unique visitors of my site. 50% of them using firefox and block adsense. Is there anything we can do about it? Like put a statement on the intropage "If you have adsense blocker, please disable it and enjoy reading my content/getting stuffs from my site, if you choose not disable it, please push back button because you will just rob my content"

This seems like it might dance on the fine line of the AdSense ToS. I would also not mention adsense, more along the lines of, "Please disable AdBlock for this website, thanks." or something similar.

I doubt it would work anyway, damn FireFox users

I wouldn't rely on anything but my own stats software to track my traffic.

The only true stats program I rely on is awstats in cpanel. It's definetly the best for me.

hmmm... I got the AdSense blocker installed. Now what do I need to do to block seeing the AdSense? (I'd like to visit my own sites without increasing impressions. :) )

why do you bring a topic up that's more than 3 months old , and not really about your question?
