Are Adsense Click Values related to Position in Serps or PR?

It is really hard for me to figure out this whole Adsense and their smart pricing. Somedays ill be getting like $1 a click and often times I will be reduced to .10 and it is always up and down like that through the month.

I have adsense spread out on 10 websites, and some perform better than others. With those 10 some are in the top ten of the serps, while some are non existent in google.

I have some pages with adsense on them, that get no page views or clicks

Would any of these factor into my up and down price per click ?

PR, # in SERPS, Adsense on Pages that bring no traffic ?

If you getting .1, you are being smart prices.
When you start getting .01 you are getting smart priced :)

.1 to 1 dollar is a still a very good click.

    Clicks or CTRs depend on
    - The PLACING Of the ads.
    - Your target audience, kids and older people tend to click more ads coz they think the ads are some LINKS
    - Visitors through SEs will be better clickers than people who have come through a bookmark.
your SERP will only indirectly be related to the click trhough rate. If you have better SERP, you have more visitors from Google, and these people are more click happy, since they are looking for something and will exit your site by clicking an ad if they don't find anythin on your site.

And your AD placement highly influences ur CTR.
One more thing, the lesser the ad, the better the payout. Coz the highest paying ads are served in the top most ad unit. if there is only one unit, the visitor will click only the high paying ad and not the other low paying ones

earning per click is not related to your serp position. it's related your site category and your adsense optimization
