    Hi

To cut a long story short. I have a client who currently has his site uploaded to lets call it domain1.com, he has now been advised that he needs to change his domain (for legal reasons), so he wants to buy another domain lets call it domain2.com and upload the same site to the new domain and place a 301 redirect on domain1.com to domain2.com.

The reason for this is he doesn't want to lose all the off-page SEO that has been done on the current domain.

However he has been speaking to the SEO company who have stated that google may now handle 301 redirects differently since the updates, so he doesn't know what to do.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dee

there was no official update by google on alternate method of 301 Redirection.., so at present 301 Redirection Rule is the only one where you can revert all your SEO efforts within a couple of months..,
