I m bit perplexed - what z d benefit of link submission to 0 PR directories? If 0 PR directories are not helping anyways in getting backlink then what d use of submitting link to them?Plz leme know!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They would have a benefit, however if only small.. And of course there is the chance that the PR's increase in the future.. So if you get your site ranked early in a low PR directory, then if in a few months (or years) it's performing a lot better you will have a very strong link.
It is useful if you get in on the ground floor of a new directory for free that becomes a powerful paid directory over time.
All websites start with a PR N/A, if you know that directory is new a PR 0 is not bad. If you see owners promoting the directory in forums and lists, directory can get a higher PR.
Yes, there is a chance submitting to them will acquire a higher PR however I tend to stay away from them and target at least PR 2. But at the same time its good to have a wide arrange of PR so the engines see a variety of links
There is a saying, a nut today, an oak tree tomorrow. When I first started blogging, my blog ofcourse start with PR0 and so does my acquaintances. After a few months, those acquaintances even have higher PR than my blog. Everyone start from ground zero.
Yes, submit to PR0 directories, for long haul, and remember even zero has value in google world, a contribution of .00002+ to the PR of your site. Good luck.
Instead of worrying about the PR I would look into whether it is thematically related to your site, if it is thematic then I would go for PR0 directories
IMO not many directories are useful. Maybe the high PR ones. I dont ever see them recorded with Google unless there high PR. Plus Google is on to the directory thing and they dont give much juice for them. Like many other popular tactics.
pr0 directories is usefull becaz. easy to get listed in pr0 directoris and every backlink have some worth. and may be possible that directory will get pr in next pr upadate. ~jakki~
