I have searched forever for an appropriate service, and was wondering if anyone might know anything here:

Does anyone know of a service that will STAMP discs for archiving data? DVD preferably. I would like to keep my data of images/video without worrying about degradation.

What do you mean by STAMP?

You've got me intrigued. I've got archived DVDs/CDRs that I reburn every 5 years or so.

Stamp as in the way they do records and professional (ie bought in the store and made in very mass qualities) CDs and DVDs. Not burn like "modern" cd burners.

In all honesty, I'd call around to some of the local music recording studios as if anyone knew where a local stamper was, they would.

You can also buy the machine. We used to have one back in the late 90s but back then, I think is was about $12k and that was for a small one that did about 20 disks an hour.

Aha! That's called PRESSING - at least that's what we call it in Australia.

    :)

I had a some data CDRs pressed for a client a few years ago, and it was surprisingly cheap.
